Mälarenergi is both active as a producer and supplier of electric power as well as supplying transmission and distribution services. In Västerås, Köping, Arboga, Kungsör och Hallstahammar the transmission and distribution of electric power is supplied by Mälarenergi Elnät AB, a subsidiary to Mälarenergi AB.

Mälarenergi Elnät's role is to develop, build and maintain the transmission and distríbution network. This is done with high focus on reliability, the environment, quality and uptime. The aim is simply to supply our customer with power twentyfour-seven.
When you select the supplier of electricity and type of agreement you can imagine it the same way as when you take a home loan. Do you want security and fixed price – choose Fixed. Do you want to be flexible and keep up with interest rate fluctuations – choose Flexible. Or perhaps you want to mix fixed and flexible, then we call it Mix 50/50.
